Boys and Basketball

Boys crack me up... they use basketball to make friends, to let out anger, to basically live...This is for all guys that like basketball lol...but it just makes me laugh that they take it so seriously... they lose friendships over a game that doesn't last longer than an hour (in some games). I was just informed that off the court friendship and on the court friendship are two different things lol...wtf? these niggas is too intense... how is it that they can disrespect each other on the court but be friends off the court. Disrespect is disrespect no matter when you do it. I guess you can say that having two separate things works but ultimately are they truly separate? someone always takes shit to the heart and brings on court shit off court. i think that boys and sports are stupid and i cannot understand them at all lol...

I agree!!

But then again I also understand. Because when I did Mock Trial the girl I was in the courtroom was not the girl I am usually. I do understand changing into what is needed. But I also know that you take it out off the court/field/courtroom. As humans we need to compete and because of this we hold grudges, like to win, and lose friends.

I feel you my love.
[this is ashlee by the way..lol]

I feel that people take the term 'disrespect' far too light heartedly. ESPECIALLY people our age..and it seems to travel with OUR specific group of friends rather rapidly as well.
the fact of thhe matter remains that disrespect is the act of lacking respect for a fellow human being. And simply for being a human being we all deserve a certain level of respect. By disrespecting one another were simply signifying its okay for the rest of the world that its okay for them to not respect us just the same.

so theres my tangent.
i love you girl.
i miiss you.

Guys and sports are just as confusing as girls and sports. guys can hate each other off the court and still play together because for us its almost like a test of manhood. its like can put aside your issues for the greater good. we talked about this in my sociology class... im not deep or nothin.
